Yank needed to notice changes on remotes without user action.

Considered Options

  • Polling
  • Webhooks

Decision Outcome

Chosen option: "Polling", because remotes could not call us back yet.

Consequences

  • Good, because nothing is needed on the remote side.
  • Bad, because changes appear with up to five minutes of delay.
